Holly & Joe’s Snowy Sunrise Engagement Session

Holly and Joe reached out in 2019 to book me for their October 2021 wedding! She had a cool idea of taking pictures together in every season of the year for their Save-The-Dates.

By February 2021, we’d already done all of the other seasonal sessions, but had yet to tackle the winter session. We planned, and rescheduled, and postponed, over and over again. But ultimately, we just had to do our “snow-dances” and pray to the good Lord for all of the snow. Luckily, at the end of February, we got more than half a foot of snow, and we texted each other with a “let’s make it happen” attitude! The snowy sunrise engagement session was on!

So we all three woke up WAY before the sun and ventured out into the wilderness with our boots in Joe’s 4-wheel drive truck. We had SO much fun romping and laughing in the snow! It’s been super fun getting to know them more over the last few years, especially with their creative seasonal photography ideas! I CANNOT wait to capture their wedding this October and see what they have in store for their big day!
