Let's talk about wedding packages.

HECK YES. I travel quite a bit, and my weddings are all over the midwest! Should you want to shoot in a national park or on top of a mountain or in the ocean? HIT ME UP. I LOVE to travel, and often bring my hunk of a man along with me to second shoot!

2) Do you travel for weddings or elopements?

Nope! I’ll need a list of family photos, but otherwise, I’ve got a good idea of what I’ll need throughout the day to capture your love! If you have a particular shot you’d like, I can make it happen! Just mention it to me during our timeline meeting!

3) Do you need a shot list?

In my ideal world, I’d always suggest 8 or more hours for a normal wedding day. I feel comfortable that 8 hours gives me time to get all the shots I need to build a story through your images! Elopements vary depending on plans!

4) How many hours of wedding day coverage do you suggest?

You & I meet about a month before your wedding, and go over every detail, from the time I arrive to the time I leave! The more we plan, the smoother your day will go!! We’ll do this over some chai or coffee!

5) What is a wedding timeline construction meeting?

Please and thank you! I’m a hot tea all year kind-a-gal!

6) Can I bring you snacks?!

Cameras: I carry three cameras with me on your wedding day, so that if anything should happen to one, I’ve still got you covered! Images: I capture every image on two separate cards, should anything happen to one. Then, I back them up on two different hard drives. Once edited, I’ll keep an original & edited copy for myself. So your images are in no less than 4 places at any given time!

Photographer: Apart from a crisis or emergency, I’ll be there to personally shoot your big day! If something happens, I have associate photographers who work for me & shoot in my style. I’ll handle all editing so that their images reflect my style, and nothing impacts your wedding day!

7) Do you have back up?

Yes! I am licensed and insured! Make sure that whoever you’re choosing for your day has both! (A lot of photogs aren’t operating legally; if this is you, reach out and I can help you through the process!) Should your venue like a copy of my liability insurance, just reach out! This protects you, your venue, and me, and covers my cost should anything happen to my gear!

8) Do you have insurance?

I absolutely will bring my flash with me for some crazy dance floor shots! But even for darker receptions, I LOVE capturing how the moment actually felt in your memories, and that includes the ambiance of the room! My camera works well in the dark, too. Want to be my best friend? Bring in all the bistro lights, lamps, and candles!! 

9) You say natural light. Will you use flash if it’s dark?

Short answer? Nope. My editing is part of the process you’re paying for! So you’re guaranteed that all of your images will be delivered to your metaphorical doorstep as the finished product with beautiful color and light retouching! 

10) Can I see some raw/unedited images?

Hecka nope. I’ll edit out things that aren’t a lasting part of you (blemishes, stains, etc). But otherwise, we’re capturing your real beauty & the real moments! Let’s practice a little bit of graciousness towards ourselves & celebrate those scrunchy-nosed smiles!

11) Will you photoshop things?

Absolutely! Just reach out and I can send you a few links!! You can also see a few beautiful galleries on the blog!

12) Can I see a full wedding gallery?

Weddings are guaranteed by an 8 week timeframe! But unless it's busy season, it’s typically sooner! Woop woop!

13) How long does it take for photos to come back?

This depends on which package you booked! For 8 hours or more of wedding day coverage, I deliver anywhere between 600-900 images.

14) How many photos will I get?

Fully edited, high resolution images are delivered in a password protected online gallery secured with a download pin! AND, Your gallery is yours foreva! Those who have worked with me multiple times have one gallery with multiple collections inside! (So that all your images are in one place! Easy peasy!)

15) How are photos delivered?

Yes! Please! I beg you to print your photos! You'll receive full personal printing rights for your photos, AND your online gallery will already be connected to an online print shop to a professional printer I use! You can SUPER easily order prints STRAIGHT FROM YOUR PHONE! Woop!

16) Do you offer print services?

Definitely not! Once you book & pay your deposit, your price is locked in and will not change!

17) Will my price change if your prices go up?

Of course!! I require 30% down & a signed contract to lock you into my calendar. The rest is due 1 month before your wedding day, and can be split into monthly payments!

18) Do you offer payment plans?

For couples, I have a style guide I can send you! Think “complimentary” instead of “matching”. But bottom line, wear clothes you’re comfortable moving around in! The more comfortable you are, the bigger & more genuine your smile! Avoid small prints, and focus on earth tones!
