Addie and Jordan had such a charming engagement in historic downtown Madison, Indiana. I absolutely adored all the rich green hues, vibrant pops of color and stunning historical architecture. Those bright backgrounds suited their cool, neutral apparel perfectly and the personality of this adorable couple really shone through.
They are getting married at Richwood on the River in Milton, Kentucky in July later this year, so they wanted to capture their engagement session in an area that’s close to their wedding venue! Addie knew the exact type of vibe she was going for. She loved the colorful walls and the creative feel of Madison, Indiana! I mean, who wouldn’t? It’s gorgeous!
We spent the whole evening in the Madison historic downtown area by the river! We met at Crafted Coffee, a beautiful local coffee shop. Naturally, we had to grab a few quick photos using the coffee shop’s adorable outdoor bistro furniture; the rich golden hues against the matte black walls were too elegant not to capture. From there, we moved all around, including the gorgeous emerald fountain and under the beautiful pink blooms! Warm, textured brick walls found downtown were the perfect backdrop for romantic sunset vibes and vintage glass windows gave me all the eclectic city feels. We definitely had a large variety of backdrops to choose from; we even captured a few serene photos with the peaceful river in the background!
Although she and Jordan may be young, they have been together for over 7 years now! The couple’s familiarity with one another is evident in every photo. During their whole session, they were super cute, cuddly and TOTALLY in love! I CANNOT wait to capture the next chapter in their love story later this summer!! Congratulations Jordan & Addie! I wish you the best! You’ll be married before you know it!
