Eric & Kristie Bauter were married in a beautiful summer wedding at St. Joseph Catholic Church in South Lyon, Michigan on July, 17, 2020. They hosted their closest friends & family at a reception at Camp Tamarack in Brighton, Michigan.
When Eric & Kristie were dating, he wrote her a series of letters that eventually spelled out his proposal to her. He knew from almost the start that he was going to marry her. And when their wedding day arrived, Kristie even wore a sapphire heart necklace he had gifted her years ago!
Their day was filled with lots of dancing, social distancing, masks, and hand sanitizer. Kristie started the day at her parent’s house, getting her hair & makeup done with her sisters and closest friends. Their wedding mass was hosted at St. Joseph Catholic Church in South Lyon, Michigan, and was filled with beautiful music, scripture, and laughter.
After cruising on a party bus, they hosted their outdoor reception at Camp Tamarack, in Brighton, Michigan. They had a served meal, complete with Eric’s mom’s pasta sauce recipe! Eric & his father honored their extended family with lots of speeches during dinner. Eric spoke so highly of his bride, and emphasized how important faith & family is to their legacy.
Later, they ended the evening by dancing their hearts out to the crazy awesome music of Space Cat, an event & wedding band local to the Detroit, Michigan area!
It was SOO much fun to capture this day for Kristie & Eric! Their joy was seriously contagious!
Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Bauter!
