I have absolutely loved shooting minis this year – especially at a place as beautiful as the Colonial Classics Greenhouse! I’m unsure if it’s because of the pandemic, but there’s been a shift in my love for these small moments; I cannot get enough. Being reminded of the preciousness of life has encouraged me to take even more photos and capture these seasons, yes professionally, but personally, too!
So when I needed a rain/shine location close to me, I reached out to Colonial Classics Greenhouse & Landscaping in Evansville. They’re right up the road from me; I had recently shopped there for a few plants and was blown away by their property! They’re a privately owned business, so I called the owner and coordinated the best day! It was SO COOL to not only host clients around beautiful florals & gardening supplies, but to watch clients stay, browse, and support a local business!
I hadn’t seen Rachal & Ryan since high school! It was so. stinking. sweet to connect with them again, and hear how their journey had brought them to this season! They were totally in love, and you could see the care-free way they moved around each other. Best friends. (PS: Doesn’t Rachal have the coolest style?!)
